WHY?

My mission is straightforward - to create a safer, kinder world for women, the LGBTQ+ community, and especially our children. Every day, my mind bubbles with fresh ideas, but too many of them stay trapped in my head. I realized it was time for a change.
These ideas needed to become more than just thoughts - they needed to turn into meaningful projects. The catalyst for this change? A simple idea about making the digital world safer for kids. It was just a rough sketch in my mind, but it sparked a desire to make a difference.
So, I decided to take the plunge. I joined the Advanced Starter Seminars with this spark of an idea, hoping to fan it into a blaze of transformation, creating a path towards a safer and kinder world.

ASSETS

Jumping into the Starter Seminars was like opening the doors to a treasure trove of knowledge. Each session, each shared experience of fellow entrepreneurs was like striking gold. But the most priceless takeaway? The realization that it's not just okay, but entirely normal not to know everything when you're starting out.
These seminars didn't just hand me a roadmap to my destination, they also equipped me with the tools to draw my own paths. They taught me how to shape my raw ideas into potential projects, craft a pitch that compels, and most importantly, identify the right support channels. It was like suddenly seeing the world through a pair of 'opportunity goggles'.
But perhaps the biggest asset I gained was this: Confidence. Confidence to believe in my ideas, to take the plunge and not to fear the fall. I learned that failure isn't in the falling but in not even trying. Now, I'm not just ready to jump, I'm ready to soar.

Picture this: A 8-year-old friend of mine with a cold cup of milk, an adult with an iced coffee, and a conversation brimming with fresh ideas and opportunity updates. Sounds like a regular catch-up. Well, this is the exciting prelude to our entrepreneurial journey. We're turning dreams into plans, one sip at a time.

What inspires you?

Guess who’s my muse? An 8-year-old buddy of mine (who prefers to keep his name under wraps). Our lively discussions about fake news and misinformation have been a real eye-opener. They've shown me how kids see the world - it's creative, open, and straight to the point. Their perspective is a refreshing change from typical adult conversations. It's shown me how to shape an educational tool that's fun, meaningful, and not filled with "adult boring" stuff.
And what does my buddy have to say about our project? Here are his words:

My friend Heghine’s passion is to help the LGBTQ RIGHTS community, kids and women, so one day she tells me her dream to inform people and teach how to stay safe online. I know how to code, and I can think of good game ideas, so I said: “A rather fun game idea, so that kids can have fun and learn at the same time”. This is proven as when you are having fun, it's easy to learn. Learning about online safety is important to know and to do, for there are terrible people who will try to steal and scam others online.

These moments remind me of how effortlessly kids turn play into learning. It’s something we adults seem to forget as we grow up. And it's these playful, curious minds that I'm determined to protect online. Their honesty and inquisitiveness motivate me to create a safer, friendlier digital world.
