The first 2026 call for Baekeland and Innovation Mandates from VLAIO is fast approaching, and VUB TechTransfer is here to guide you through it. Join us for an info session on 20 January 2026, from 12:00 to 14:00.
Baekeland and Innovation Mandates give pre- and postdoctoral researchers the chance to conduct research in close collaboration with a Flemish company. These mandates support strategic research that offers a clear economic added value.
- Baekeland Mandates offer PhD candidates the possibility to obtain their PhD, get to know the industry from the inside, and see the scientific results applied.
- Innovation Mandates support postdoctoral researchers to conduct strategic research with an existing company or towards a new spin-off company.
