A new innovative spin-off developing bio-inks for 3D printing.
BIO INX® is a new spin-off of UGent and VUB thanks to the signing of an exclusive licensing deal. This spin-off is committed to developing bio-inks to produce organs or human 'spare parts' using 3D printers. The mission of BIO INX® is to contribute to the bioprinting puzzle through the development of bio-inks, materials to print organs with their own cells.
BIO INX® was established as a result of a joint PhD research project between B-PHOT Brussels Photonics (VUB) and the Polymer Chemistry and Biomaterials Group (UGent).
