Type of action: COSME-GAE Grant Agreement Erasmus The overall objective of this action is to strengthen cluster management excellence and facilitate exchanges and strategic partnering between clusters and specialised eco-systems and cities across Europe, including through implementation of the “ClusterXchange” mobility scheme. As high quality cluster management and strategic connections between clusters are key elements of successful world-class clusters, the action aims to foster SME competitiveness and assist companies to successfully access global markets.
STRATEGIC ALLIANCES FOR THE UPTAKE OF ADVANCED TECHNOLOGIES BY SMES

Type of action: COSME grant This call for proposals aims to establish strategic alliances between tech-savvy SMEs and the traditional SMEs facing the need to adapt to the post-crisis economic environment, focusing on the benefits of adopting advanced technologies. The specific objective of the action is to launch two pilot projects focused on building alliances among traditional and tech-savvy SMEs through industrial cluster organisations in order to promote SME collaboration and technology adoption within specific industrial ecosystems.
CO-FINANCING OF PUBLIC PROCUREMENT (PP) OF INNOVATION CONSORTIA

Call budget: EUR 5 000 000 (1-2 proposals funded)
Type of action: COSME-GA Grant Agreement (two-stage proposal) This call for proposals has three main objective:; a) to encourage cooperation between public buyers to promote the use of PP; b) to increase the impact of public procurement on innovation; c) link and establish synergies with R&I projects funded by the EU whenever possible. The co-financing would cover the following phases of PPI:
- Assessment of their needs by public buyers
- Capacity building and coordination between buyers
- Market consultation · Specification development
- Co-financing of purchasing costs
- Communication to the outside on the achievements of the projects.
