The accelerated rise of new technologies, changing consumer preferences and emerging mobility
services is currently drastically transforming the automotive industry.
Today, we are at an exciting and significant moment of change, driven by the race to deliver sustainable digital mobility, also considering human and environmental factors. Society is facing the trend from individual cars to smart cities with intelligent shared transportation infrastructures for humans and goods including shared vehicles, bikes and public transportation.
EcoMobility, applications’ portfolio is on Transport & Smart Mobility and Digital Life and Digital Industry. The project covers topics on components, modules and systems integration, embedded software and beyond, artificial intelligence , edge computing and advanced control architecture , design methods and tools and also quality, reliability safety and cybersecurity.
The demonstrators within EcoMobility will showcase the project’s findings and capabilities for the end-to-end sustainable mobility ecosystem with impact on improved trust, safety, security, efficiency and ecology of mobility solutions to a level appropriate for mass-market deployment.
Emerging innovations will leverage the expertise of world-renowned industrial and research partners within the mobility value chain, giving Europe a competitive edge in a growing market with direct contributions to the European goal of zero road fatalities by 2050.
