The 2023 Work Programme of EU4Health is launched!
The EU4Health work programme for 2023 consists of four overarching strands:
- Crisis preparedness;
- Health promotion & disease prevention;
- Health systems & healthcare workforce;
- Digital;
The fifth cross-cutting strand is cancer.
Additionally, the COVID-19 pandemic and Russia's unjustified and unprovoked war against Ukraine will be addressed in the work program for 2023. Mental health, global health, technological advancements in digital health, and pharmaceuticals will all receive special attention. The work schedule will also cover initiatives to increase cancer screening uptake.
With a budget of €735,8 million for 2023, EU4Health will pave the way for a powerful European Health Union by promoting digitalization, disease prevention, healthcare workforce development, and crisis preparedness.
