Researchers from the VUB and ULB have succeeded in extracting gold, silver and other precious materials from the Brussels sewage water. With the SUBLIMUS project they are looking for a way to do this on a large scale.
The project is coordinated by Dr. Natacha Brion of VUB research group Analytical and Environmental Geochemistry and it is financed by Innoviris.
