Innoviris awards 500K euros to Brussels' most innovative ventures.
For the 12th time, Innoviris granted the Innovative Starters Awards, recognizing three promising start-ups and scale-ups operating in Brussels for up to three years. Each winner is granted a sum of €500,000 to support their innovative initiatives. The awards aim to promote pioneering companies with robust innovation potential, which contribute sustainably to an economy and society undergoing transition.
We are delighted to announce that Konligo, a VUB spin-off, has been named as one of the winners of the Innovative Starters Awards 2022. Konligo addresses the challenge of zero waste in the event industry by developing fully circular tent structures that are manufactured in Brussels. They aim to create a design tool that utilizes optimization algorithms to convert any 3D shape into a compact scissor structure that can be rapidly assembled.
The 2023 edition of the Innovative Starters Awards will be launched on 16 May 2023 with an info session in the company of the alumni of the Innovative Starters Awards at Innoviris.
