NEMOSHIP is an innovation approved project which main goal is to develop more advanced, efficient and cheaper technologies which will significantly impact the market penetration of batteries in marine applications. It intends to develop best practices & guidelines, as well as products and digital services to facilitate the uptake of marine electrification technologies validated in 2 cases.
The NEMOSHIP project is built upon an industry-led consortium composed of 11 complementary partners. The geographical coverage of the consortium represents 6 countries with a strong presence in 2 European regions with large-scale demonstrators: the Northern-European lead by Norway and the Southern-European (countries are: France, Belgium, Spain, Romania, Turkey). The project will start in January 2023 for a duration of 48 months and is awarded a total budget of 7,870,268.00 €.
