A new spin-off regulation and a corresponding Code of Ethics on conflicts of interest have passed through the VUB Innovation and Valorisation Council, the Academic Council and the Board of Directors.
The new spin-off regulations contain some adjustments or clarifications in function of the renewed VUB Organic Statute, but also contain adjustments to update the existing spin-off scheme. An Ethical Code was added as a guideline to manage potential conflicts of interest that arise as a result of participating in spin-offs.
