Today more and more companies & individuals are using solar panels. Good and sunny weather leads to surpluses of green energy, but according to VUB researchers, the current support measures do not sufficiently encourage consumers to use more green energy, and the price of energy depends on the energy producers. Therefore, the VUB AI Lab developed an innovative energy supply system based on the new crypto currency “NGRcoin” with a fixed currency in which individuals and consumers themselves produce, sell and purchase green energy.
