In dealing with the COVID‐19 crisis, the research has been broadly addressed and covers epidemiology, diagnosis, treatment and social impact. The Department of Economy, Science & Innovation (EWI) published an overview of the ongoing initiatives by the Flemish universities. Several VUB projects are mentioned in the report.
