I have a Master in Industrial and Bio-engineering from the KU Leuven. Currently I work at VUB TechTransfer as a TechTransfer officer. I am the liaison between the researchers and the society (industry, administrative authorities, research institutions, not-for profit organisations, …).

WHY?

I wanted to learn more about being an entrepreneur, to understand the mind-set, the needs and the struggles. This can help me in my job at VUB TechTransfer in supporting early-stage spin-off projects.

ASSETS

I especially liked the financial part of the seminar, which was very interesting as I do not have a financial background.

Starting a business?

I have not yet started my own business, but I do keep it in mind.

What inspires you?

Entrepreneurs who find a good balance between work, family and societal impact.
