On October 23, 2025, VUB TechTransfer hosted a TechTranser Talk focused on the exciting evolution of the Research Park Zellik (RPZ). Titled "Shaping Tomorrow: Reinventing Research Park Zellik as a Global Innovation Hub," the talk drew a crowd of 70 participants, eager to learn about milestones and future plans designed to foster a dynamic, sustainable ecosystem.
The event, held at Usquare's Grand Hall, featured an insightful interview between Michael Dooms, Director responsible for RPZ Campus Development, and Suzy Renckens, Innovation Manager at VUB TechTransfer.

Central to this vision is sustainability, guiding initiatives across key themes like climate and energy, health and platform technologies. Attendees learned about forthcoming developments, including plans for new infrastructure that will support groundbreaking innovation projects. These additions aim to solidify RPZ as a crucial meeting point where universities and companies can powerfully join forces.
