Flemish Minister of Innovation Hilde Crevits grants €430,000 in support to CAPTURE, the research platform of the VUB, Ghent University, UAntwerpen and VITO. CAPTURE focuses on research on the circular use of CO2, plastic and water.
The funding will be used to better frame upscaling projects and to link a wide range of companies (from spin-off to multinationals) with researchers in order to realize the social transition to a circular economy. All this in collaboration with existing initiatives. The goal is clear: working together to ensure that circular models become the norm as quickly as possible.
