Thinking about applying for the Strategic Basic Research (SBO) program from FWO? Join us on June 2, 2026, for an online info session to learn more about this funding opportunity.
The SBO program funds innovative research which, if scientifically succesful, will create prospects for economic or societal applications. This program breaks down into two finality parts: projects with a societal finality or projects with an economic finality. The projects with economic finality can be aimed at valorisation at existing companies or towards a spin-off.
Get support with your SBO proposal! During this info session, an SBO advisor from FWO will inform you about the SBO call. You will also learn how VUB TechTransfer can support your application for this call.
This info session is aimed at researchers from VUB, UZB and EhB.
