Tuba Bircan is a research professor at the Department of Sociology and the research coordinator of Interface Demography at Vrije Universiteit Brussel. Her scholarly interests cover a wide range from migration, inequalities, public perception and attitudes, ethical and trustworthy AI, use and governance of Big Data and AI for global challenges to new methodologies, social and public policies.

Kim Willems is associate professor of Marketing at the Faculty of Social Sciences & Solvay Business School, in the Business Department, Cluster Marketing & Consumer Behaviour (BUSI/MARK). Her research tends to be interdisciplinary and centers on consumer behavior in online and offline retail and services. She is member of the research groups Imec-SMIT, Brubotics and House of Sustainability.

Hbits continues to leverage this expertise, transcending the confines of academia through its innovative modular research platform, MOTUS. MOTUS facilitates seamless online investigations into time utilization.
Joeri Minnen became a member of the VUB Research Group TOR in October 2002. With a rich history and extensive expertise in the field of time use research, he has demonstrated his proficiency through the creation of the MOTUS software platform for collecting behavioral data. In his role as a Researcher-Entrepreneur, Joeri Minnen leads several projects that leverage MOTUS and he is the manager of hbits. Joeri will share his journey of transforming his SSHA research into a thriving spin-off company.
