A team of scientists active within the VUB AI Experience Center has now developed a new algorithm for a self-driving wheelchair that learns much faster and independently on the basis of trail and error than existing versions.
This innovation is more than just scientific research. The wheelchair can be used effectively in daily life and makes self-driving wheelchairs more comfortable and safer.
